Man found dead near Lynnwood took own life

LYNNWOOD — A man whose body was found last week near Lynnwood killed himself, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner reported Tuesday.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit was called to the 19700 block of S Danvers Road Thursday to investigate the death.

The man was 71, the medical examiner reported. He died from a gunshot wound. His identification was withheld pending notification of relatives.
