ACTIVE DUTY

Cadet Shawn Cooper, son of John and Sandy Cooper, of Lake Stevens, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 23. Cooper graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 2011. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in life sciences. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Medical Service Corps branch and will report to Fort Rucker, Alabama, for aviation training as a Medevac pilot.
