EVERETT — The state Department of Health has suspended the license of a massage therapist accused of sexual misconduct.
Danzel Phipps can’t practice in Washington until the Health Department’s investigation is resolved, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
Meanwhile Snohomish County prosecutors are reviewing the allegations to determine whether to file criminal charges.
Phipps is accused of having sexual contact with a patient during a session in February, according to state records.
He has 20 days to respond the state’s action and request a hearing. Phipps has been licensed in Washington since 2010.
