Snohomish River drowning victim identified

SNOHOMISH — The 21-year-old man who drowned swimming in the Snohomish River Monday has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office as Harrison C. Fisher of Kenmore.

Witnesses said Fisher went under the water at about 4 p.m. June 29 and didn’t resurface.

His body was found about half an hour later in water 20 feet deep.

The incident happened near Short School Road between Snohomish and Monroe. His death has been ruled an accident.
