Nominations for Pride of Marysville open

MARYSVILLE — Nominations are being accepted for the annual Pride of Marysville competition. The contest awards the best buildings in the city for their design, landscaping or other aesthetic improvements.
Awards will be given out for the best residential property, the best block or neighborhood, the best business and the Mayor’s Choice/James P. Comeford Award. The Mayor’s Choice award is given to a home or business in the downtown or waterfront districts.
To nominate a home, business, or neighborhood, send an email to dbuell@marysvillewa.gov, fill out a form online at marysvillewa.gov/prideawards, or download the form and mail it in.
Nominations are due Friday, Aug. 7. Winners will be announced in September. For any questions, call Doug Buell at 360-363-8408.
