Corey Kispert

King’s | Boys Basketball

Kispert, a junior, scored 32 points and made six 3-pointers in a 68-44 win over Granite Falls on Tuesday. Kispert also had 26 points in an 81-35 win over Cedarcrest on Friday. Kispert and the defending 1A state champion Knights were ranked third in the most recent AP poll.

Madeline Smith

Snohomish | Girls Basketball

Smith, a senior, had 24 points in a 47-39 win over Mariner on Wednesday and bested that performance with a 25-point effort in a 53-38 victory over Kamiak on Friday. After starting the season 0-3, Smith and the Panthers have won 14 games in a row and have a one-game lead over Monroe for first place in Wesco 4A.

Sidat Kanyi

Edmonds-Woodway | Wrestling

Kanyi, the No. 4 ranked 3A wrestler at 120 pounds in the state, beat Arlington’s Gavin Rork, who is ranked No. 3 ranked 3A wrestler at 126 pounds, 12-7 on Friday. Kanyi’s victory helped propel the Warriors to a 37-24 win over Arlington. It was the Eagles first loss of the season.

Henry Limm

Kamiak | Boys Swimming

Limm won two events and swam in two victorious relay teams in the Knights’ 113-70 win over Shorewood on Thursday.

Candice Goldfinch

Everett | Girls Bowling

Goldfinch rolled games of 257 and 245 en route to a 683 series as she led the Seagulls to the team title at the 1A/2A/3A Bi-District championships.
