Josh Bevan

Marysville Pilchuck | Boys Basketball

Bevan, a senior, scored 41 points in a 73-68 win over Everett on Tuesday and added 29 points in a 71-49 win over Oak Harbor on Friday. Bevan’s scoring has been up lately as the Tomahawks have won five of their last six games to secure second place in the Wesco 3A North.

Adiya &Aliya Jones

Tulalip Heritage | Girls Basketball

Aliya Jones, a junior, scored 25 points in a win over Highland Christian on Monday and had 12 points in a district tournament win over Mount Vernon Christian on Friday. Adiya Jones added 14 points in each of those games and the Hawks are undefeated this season.

Sam Zook

Oak Harbor | Wrestling

Zook, a junior, won the 285-pound weight class at the 3A North Sub Regionals this past weekend by pinning Brett Engleman from Marysville Getchell. With the win, Zook is on to this weekend’s 3A regional round where he will wrestle for a berth in this year’s Mat Classic.

Candice Goldfinch

Everett | Girls Bowling

Goldfinch, a senior, finished second at the 2A/3A state bowling championships this past weekend with a six-game total of 1,180 pins, just nine pins behind the winner. Goldfinch has placed in the top-10 at state in all four years of her high school career and helped the Seagulls finish second as a team.
