Characters are poignant legacy

Harper Lee has died. Her legacy: A just man named Atticus; a child unfettered by bias named Scout; a tender soul named Boo; and a good man of color unjustly accused named Tom. How poignantly she gave voice to our timorous feelings of love and justice. God speed, Harper Lee!
