Woman hospitalized after stabbing in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO — Police were investigating the stabbing of a woman in Mukilteo on Thursday.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, received injuries that required hospital treatment, Police Chief Chuck Macklin said. It happened just after 5 p.m. in the 11700 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

A man believed to be the suspect drove off southbound in a maroon sport utility vehicle.

No other details were immediately released Thursday.
