On the Season 2 finale of “Gotham,” Hugo Strange’s (B.D. Wong) Arkham Asylum inmates devise a plan to escape and start their new unscrupulous lives. Clearly, Batman can’t arrive soon enough. 8 p.m., Fox.

Break out the roses. Season 12 of “The Bachelorette” begins with JoJo Fletcher meeting the 26 guys who will vie for her heart. We’re told that one of them rides in on a unicorn. 9 p.m., ABC.
