Dance-draw-sing: Northwest Folklife Festival runs May 27-30 at the Seattle Center with about 6,000 performers. The Discovery Zone for kids and families is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with arts, crafts, storytelling, musical instruments and listening stations. More at www.nwfolklife.org.

Boom! Tankfest Northwest is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30 at Flying Heritage Collection, 3407 109th St. SW, Everett. There will be tanks, military vehicles and artillery weapons with driving and firing demonstrations of tanks and artillery; www.flyingheritage.com.

Bike donations: Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop, 2531 Broadway Ave., Everett, is asking for donations of kids bikes for its Kid’s Bike Swap from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 12. Bikes with 20 inch and 24 inch wheels are especially needed. Donations earn credit for a larger bicycle; www.sharingwheels.org.

Darrington Day: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 28 at locations around Darrington. Includes an art show, Model-A car show and vendors; live music in Old School Park; www.darringtonwatourism.com.

On the water: Edmonds Waterfront Festival is 3 to 10 p.m. June 3, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 4, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 5, at Port of Edmonds Marina; children’s activities, arts and crafts, music, beer garden, classic yacht show; $3 admission, 12 and younger free; www.edmondswaterfrontfestival.org.

Touch-A-Truck: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4 at Monroe Christian School, 1009 W. Main St., Monroe; construction, police and other vehicles plus face-painting, pony rides and more; horn-free hour from 10 to 11 a.m. for kids with special needs; $5, kids under 2 free, www.mcstouchatruck.com.

Pugs: Seattle Pug Rescue’s Pug Gala is 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 11 at the Evergreen Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave. SE, Monroe. Imagine Children’s Museum: 1502 Wall St., Everett. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
