What: Peony ‘Coral Sunset’ is an herbaceous peony, with semi-double, intensely colored coral blooms and golden stamens at the center. Coral Sunset, which is an unusual color for peonies, was awarded the American Peony Society Gold Medal Selection in 1981. A stunning garden selection, its buds are deep coral, lightening a bit as it opens, then finally fading to pale coral. Its deep green foliage remains until late fall, providing a lush environment for the garden. It blooms in May and is an excellent cut flower.

Where: This peony thrives in either full sun or part shade.

Size: 32 inches at maturity
