Remix: Tween STEAM events push digital

Students ages 9-13, in grades 4-8, are invited to register for a Tween STEAM Club series on digital audio and remixing at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd.

Foundry10 will provide sound samples and materials needed to create full songs, remixes and more. Using exploration and play, students will learn how digital audio software blends technology and art.

The four sessions run 4-5:30 p.m. Mondays:

Oct. 17: “Basic Beatmaking and Looping”

Oct. 24: “Adding Melody over Beats”

Oct. 31: “Polishing Songs and Detailing”

Nov. 7: “Mastering Tracks and Sharing”

Attendance at all four sessions is recommended but not required. Space is limited, so registration is required ahead of time.
