Leadership Snohomish County is presenting a workshop on the changing workforce demographics, “Talking About Our Generations: Communicating Across Generations in the Workplace,” at Edmonds Community College on Wednesday. Taught by local facilitator Reneé Huseby, a morning workshop runs from 9-11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from 1-3:30 p.m. Costs is $99, or $79 for Leadership Snohomish County Alumni. WestWater Research appoints Edmonds director of business development
WestWater Research has appointed Erik Borgen as the Northwest Regional director in Edmonds. Borgen will be responsible for new business development and project management for WestWater throughout Washington, Oregon, and northern California. He brings more than 10 years of experience to WestWater, working with water rights, water transactions and hydrology on projects throughout the western U.S.
Grow Washington hosting several workshops this week
Grow Washington is hosting week long workshops to celebrate small businesses and start-ups during Global Entrepreneurship Week, this week through Sunday. Edmonds salon collecting feminine hygiene products for girls in need
Ombu Salon + Spa in Edmonds is hosting a Days for Girls product drive through the end of the year. Days for Girls collects and distributes disposable feminine hygiene products to the Edmonds School District for girls in need. Drop off feminine hygiene products or checks made payable to “Days for Girls of Edmonds, Washington” at Ombu Salon + Spa.
