Rotary Students of the Month impress with activities

The South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club recently named its Students of the Month for November.
Kamiak High School’s Michael Li is an AP Scholar with Distinction, a National Merit semifinalist, USA National Chemistry Olympiad finalist, a concert master for several orchestras, and involved in debate and the Hugs for Ghana nonprofit. He plans to attend the University of Washington or Stanford University.
Mariner High School’s Galina Prozapas is third in her class, plays volleyball, and is active in her church choir. She plans to attend college and pursue a medical career.
ACES High School’s Natasha Norwood moved to the area from Spokane a year ago and is looking forward to graduating on time in June. She is involved in Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) and looks forward to exploring her career options after graduation. Her motto is “I can, I will — and then it’s done.”
Cascade High School’s Daniel Albert mentors younger students, is involved in a number of school service activities, heads the local Young Life Club, and emceed the school’s Me & Mom tea. A concussion forced him to give up football, but he continues to play baseball. He plans to attend Everett Community College.
