EVERETT — A woman was arrested for investigation of drunken driving early Thursday morning after a one-car crash that flattened the ‘Everett’ sign in the 4100 block of Broadway.

The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m.

The off-ramp from northbound I-5 was shut down for about 45 minutes, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

The driver’s Toyota Scion was heavily damaged. The suspect is 24 and from Edmonds.

Police are investigating. They obtained a search warrant to get a blood sample from the driver, Snell said.
