EVERETT — Police are investigating two recent armed robberies at Baskin-Robbins stores in Everett.

The first occurred Dec. 15 at the store on SW Everett Mall Way. A man reportedly pulled a handgun and demanded the money in the cash register, Everett Police officer Aaron Snell said.

He left with an undisclosed amount. He was described as white and in his 20s. He was about 6-feet tall and 180 pounds and wore dark clothing.

The second robbery occurred Wednesday, six days later, at the Baskin-Robbins on Evergreen Way.

The story was similar. A man allegedly pulled a gun and asked for money. An employee told him the register could not be opened, so he fled empty-handed.

No one was hurt in either case.

The description of the two suspects vary slightly.

“It’s possible they’re the same, but that’s up to detectives” to determine, Snell said.
