Northshore School District’s Natural Leaders Program received the 2016 Outstanding Human Services Program award from the North Urban Human Services Alliance at its annual meeting held Dec. 6 at Shoreline City Hall.

The program involves 10 parent volunteers who help connect non-English speaking parents to schools. The program was developed by the Washington Alliance for Better Schools.
