EVERETT — A man was shot and critically injured overnight south of Everett.
The violence happened around midnight Tuesday and the investigation began early Wednesday morning in the 200 block of 128th Street SW, said Shari Ireton, a spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The 28-year-old man reportedly went to a parking lot in that area to confront someone over a debt. The man he confronted was with a group of people, and one of them pulled the gun, witnesses told police.
The 28-year-old was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The other people took off before deputies arrived.
As of 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, no arrests had been made.
