Suggest: Fair theme ideas invited

Last year, it was “Fun for the Whole Herd” at the Evergreen State Fair. The 2017 fair will invite attendees to “Harvest the Memories.” Exhibitors will be encouraged to use the theme in their displays and activities during the fair, from Aug. 24 to Sept. 4 in Monroe.

Organizers now seek theme ideas for 2018, when the fair turns 110.

Send ideas to EvergreenFair@gmail.com by Jan. 26. The email should include the theme, a description of how it relates to the fair, how it could be used, possible color schemes, and the sender’s name and contact information. A sketch or picture that shows the theme is optional.
