Briefs: Mountlake Terrace’s 1st Security Bank adds loan officer

1st Security Bank has hired Dexter Wellington as a senior loan officer at its home lending office in Mountlake Terrace. Wellington specializes in conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA and USDA financing for one-to-four unit purchase or refinance. A lifetime resident of Edmonds, Wellington serves on the board of directors for the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce.

South county Rotary clubs to collect shoes, socks

Through Feb. 24, Alderwood Terrace, Edmonds Noon, Edmonds Daybreakers, Lynnwood, and Mill Creek Rotary clubs will come together to collect badly needed new shoes and socks for preschool, elementary, middle and high school children in the Edmonds School District. Collection boxes, donated by Bekins NW to benefit Clothes for Kids, are at several area businesses. Please check Rotary websites for locations.

Ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sleep Number store planned in Marysville
