Dr. Carl Wigren gives a humorous and frank presentation, “Autopsies: Forensic Pathology and the Real World of CSI,” 2 p.m. Sunday at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave.
Volunteers from the audience will be invited to help with a mock crime scene and autopsy.

Dinner for Snohomish seniors: Snohomish and Glacier Peak high schools are inviting Snohomish senior citizens to a free dinner and a show May 18.
A meal will be served along with student entertainment. Snohomish High School’s Night of Arts also will be available to tour after 5 p.m.
Dinner is scheduled from 4-5 p.m. at Snohomish High School, 1316 Fifth St. RSVP at 360-563-4001.
Beijing trip: The Edmonds Historical Museum sponsors a 10-day tour of China, Sept. 25 to Oct. 4.
An orientation meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. May 15 at the museum, 118 Fifth Ave. N., to meet other travelers and learn about the itinerary. Cost of the trip is $2,500.

Get dirty: Kids are invited to learn about soil, composting and plants, build their own worm farm to take home, and help plant flowers and seeds in the library gardens at “Digging Into Dirt,” 3 p.m. May 12 at the Snohomish Library, 311 Maple Ave.
