Lost hiker found safe near Gold Bar

GOLD BAR — A 23-year-old man was found safe after he got separated from his hiking group near Gold Bar Monday.
He was reported missing in the late afternoon. Rescue crews searched along the Skykomish River downstream from the Big Eddy boat launch for about two hours, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
No additional information was available Monday evening.
