Highland Elementary School was recently named a “Leader in Me” Lighthouse School for its work incorporating the “7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids” into school life. The recognition comes from program creator Franklin Covey Co.

“At Highland, every student and every staff member is a leader, from kindergartners to fifth-graders, from introverts to extroverts,” Principal Ryan Henderson said.
