EVERETT — An Everett woman and a baby were injured Thursday in a collision at the 112th Street Park and Ride.
A 28-year-old Bothell man whose car collided with theirs was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.
An Everett family was in a sport utility vehicle that had stopped at an intersection shortly before 1 p.m. They were waiting to merge on to northbound I-5. The Bothell man sped up behind the SUV in a Lexus and didn’t stop, Snell said.
The baby was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in serious condition, Snell said. The woman had non-life-threatening injuries.
The Bothell man also was taken to the hospital.
