The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program on May 18 held a Volunteer Appreciation Event. The group awarded five volunteers the President’s “Call to Service” Lifetime Service Award, recognizing 4,000 hours of documented service.

This year’s recipients were Barbara Ann Bell, of Snohomish; Cynthia Empey, of Marysville; Orin Fjeran, of Everett; Share Joy, of Everett; and Elaine Solvang, of Lynnwood.
