Police issue warning of sex offender living in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD — Police are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender who has moved to Lynnwood.

Christopher Lee Shelley, 34, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend. He will be living in the 5500 block of 176th Street SW.

Shelley was convicted of child rape in 1995 and again in 2001. His victims included boys and girls ages 6 through 15.

He is described as white, 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

A public meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. June 29 at the Lynnwood Municipal Court, 19321 44th Ave. W.
