Man’s death determined to be suicide

LAKE STEVENS — A man, 53, whose body was found Tuesday alongside a road near Lake Stevens had taken his own life, officials say.

A passer-by found the man near the intersection of 44th Street NE and 123rd Avenue NE, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Police were called around 3:15 p.m.
