Port of Everett gets clean from state

The Washington State Auditor’s Office has reported another clean audit report for the Port of Everett, marking two decades of consecutive clean audits with no findings.
The scope of the 2016 audit focused on review of financial statements and accountability in five primary areas: financial condition, self-insurance, Open Public Meetings Act compliance, payroll system review and accounts payable process.
