MARYSVILLE — The city started on its pavement preservation projects this week. Through September, Cadman Materials Inc. workers will be grinding and repairing pavement, laying down new overlays and re-striping the new surfaces.

Drivers can expect intermittent, single-lane closures during the work, which is scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.

Work sites include:

· 67th Avenue NE (49th Street NE to Highway 528): Through late September

· 51st Avenue NE (railroad tracks to 152nd Street NE): Aug. 14-22 (scheduled)

· 71st Avenue NE (40th Street NE to 44th Street NE)

· 92nd Street NE (State Avenue to 45th Drive NE)

The projects are being paid from the city’s transportation benefit district fund.
