Kamiak alum graduates with merit

Emilie Boettger, of Mukilteo, recently received her master’s of science with merit from the School of Social and Political Science in Childhood Studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Her dissertation, “Involving Children and Young People in Decision-Making Surrounding Programmes that Aim to Reduce Holiday Hunger in Scotland,” was named the top dissertation of her class.
Boettger received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 2016. She is a 2012 graduate from Kamiak High School.
