Rotary honors Alderwood Middle teacher

Brett Schwartz, an eighth-grade teacher at Alderwood Middle School, was named the Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club November Educator of the Month.
“Students in Brett’s class read more books for class and are given more choice than most classrooms,” which helps better engage students, Principal Brian Stewart said.
