MARYSVILLE — Work is starting to wrap up on an I-5 repaving project through Marysville. Crews are scheduled to demolish and replace curb ramps on Highway 528 (Fourth Street) at the I-5 interchange this week , one of the last tasks.
Nightly closures of the southbound I-5 off-ramp to Highway 528 are scheduled to last from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Sunday . Single-lane closures of Highway 528 would accompany the work. Single-lane closures also are expected on 88th Street NE at I-5 overnight. The work relies on fair weather and the schedule could change.
The $10 million project started last summer and repaved 15 miles of the interstate along two segments.
