Granite Falls Middle School leadership students organized a community egg hunt and celebration on March 29 for local preschool-age children. Makena McGill and Elie Bassett led the project, with 43 other students also part of the team.
In all, nearly 150 children ages 1-5 from 13 area preschools hunted for 1,700 eggs at the event, which also included a petting farm, bunnies, and arts and crafts.
