Construction work continues in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Work to upgrade major intersections in Marysville continues.

Single-lane closures will be in effect again next week at three of 10 intersections slated for improvement over the coming weeks.

Projects aim at improved safety as well as moving more cars and include new signal equipment, signs, cameras or other upgrades, depending on the intersection.

The biggest change will add flashing yellow arrow signals for left turns at several locations.

The contractor is Totem Electric Inc. The project is expected to be complete in early June. A state grant is paying for the work.
