National Astronomy Day
The Everett Astronomical Society will lead an all-day drop-in program with astronomical information for all ages, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. There will be meteorites to handle, solar observing, explanation of current sky phenomena, as well as book and computer displays.

Remembering fallen veterans 5K
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7511 in Monroe hosts its second annual Flags for Our Fallen 5K, where all proceeds go toward helping veterans in need. The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 26 at Lake Tye Park, 14964 Fryelands Blvd. Those interested can register online at flags4rfallen.com with a $40 fee.

Join Pokemoners in Sultan
Players of “Pokemon Go” will clean up Sultan’s parks for Earth Day, and the public is invited to come help. Meet at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Sultan River Park, at the corner of First and Main streets near downtown.

Marine movie
The free community film series, “Our Coast,” wraps up with a viewing of “Chasing Coral,” 7 p.m. Sunday at the University of Washington Bothell’s North Creek Events Center and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Everett Community College’s Jackson Conference Center.

Learn about Riverview project
Everett’s Delta Neighborhood Association will host the developer of the Riverview I project at a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Hawthorne Elementary School, 1110 Poplar St. Learn more about the 201-unit low-barrier housing development proposed for a triangle-shaped piece of land at 16th Street and East Marine View Drive, next to Senator Henry M. Jackson Park.

Sno-Isle Libraries seeks presenters for the “Tech Pros: Let Technology Transform Your World” series. The series will bring in expert presenters to share their knowledge about technologies that are impacting lives now or in the near future. Proposals are due by Sunday. Sessions will be held from August to December.
