The South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club regularly names Students of the Month from local high schools. Recent honorees have included:

Owen Cromwell, Kamiak, a gifted musician who is involved in orchestra leadership and also runs with the cross country team.

Jennifer Paz, Kamiak, an active volunteer who alone gathered over 1,000 items for a school food drive.

Lyosha Orozco, Mariner, a band leader who tutors others in trumpet and writing. She started a jazz club after school that teaches music theory.

Sarah Khan, Mariner, an award-winning 4.0 student who plays flute in band and co-led a school SAT prep club.

Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Everett honored Students of the Month from Everett and Sequoia high schools.

Gabe Maggio, Everett, plans to attend Notre Dame or Villanova and pursue a degree in anthropology.

Linda Anjain, Sequoia, plans to attend Everett Community College after graduation and pursue a career in nursing.
