Everett alum to work with new F-35

Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brian Slack graduated in May from the Aviation Logistics Tactical Information Systems School at Marine Corps Detachment Newport, Rhode Island. He received a Meritorious Mast recognition for his class-high academic achievement. Earlier, he received a certificate of appreciation for his involvement with Newport County YMCA Special Olympics, among other honors. Slack joined the Marines in May 2017. He is now expected to be stationed in California to work with the new F-35 fighter jet. Slack graduated in 2014 from Everett High School. He is the son of Patric and Carmen Slack.
