Former Everett Silvertips co-captain and five-year defenseman Kevin Davis signed an American Hockey League deal with the Colorado Eagles on Monday.

The Eagles are the AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Davis becomes the third and final overager from the 2017-18 Silvertips squad to earn a pro contract. Patrick Bajkov signed a three-year entry-level deal with the Florida Panthers and Matt Fonteyne inked an AHL deal with the San Jose Barracuda.

Davis was Everett’s first-round bantam pick in the 2012 draft and spent all five WHL seasons with the Silvertips. The Kamloops, British Columbia, native is the franchise leader in games played (347) and is third in assists (147).

He finished with a career-best 65 points during his final regular season, and added 15 points in 22 playoff games as the Tips won the Western Conference and advanced to the league championship for just the second time in history. Davis had two goals including the overtime game-winner as Everett defeated Tri-City 6-5 in Game 6 to clinch the Western Conference finals.
