EVERETT — A man was detained Sunday after allegedly firing a pellet gun in the Walmart parking lot on Evergreen Way.

The incident was reported just before 4:30 p.m. The man went inside as Everett police arrived, officer Aaron Snell said.

The store was evacuated, and the man was found in a bathroom.

The investigation was ongoing Sunday evening. The man’s age and other details weren’t immediately released.
