STANWOOD — A man walking on I-5 north of Stanwood, in Snohomish County near the Skagit County line, was struck by two cars and killed Tuesday evening.

The Washington State Patrol said the 37-year-old man was walking northbound on the freeway at about 9 p.m. when a Honda Civic driven by a 36-year-old Mount Vernon man struck hit him. He was knocked into the next lane, where he was hit again by a Toyota Camry driven by a 68-year-old Mount Vernon man.
