Hope Within Luncheon: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County’s 13th annual Hope Within Luncheon is at noon Oct. 4 at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at the Angels of the Winds Arena complex, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. The keynote speaker is Jackson Katz, whose Mentors in Violence Prevention program is followed by the U.S. military and various sporting organizations. Love in the Soup: Love in the Soup, an annual fundraising event hosted by Recovery Cafe Everett, is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at Floral Hall in Forest Park, 802 E. Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. Pancake breakfast: Edmonds Sons of Norway is hosting a pancake breakfast and bake sale from 7:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 6 at the Edmonds Masonic Center, 515 Dayton St., Edmonds. Norwegian pancakes will be served with strawberries, syrup, ham, juice, coffee, tea and milk. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for kids 6-10; kids 5 and younger eat free. Farm to Table: Kristoferson Farm is hosting its last dinner for the year at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at its century-old barn, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. Jump Up!: Sound Salmon Solutions’ third annual salmon dinner and fundraiser is at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Northwest-inspired cuisine will be prepared by Shooby Doo Catering. Proceeds go toward salmon habitat recovery, education and stewardship, as well as the Willow Creek Salmon and Watershed Education Center (formerly the Willow Creek Salmon Hatchery).
