Candy Cane Kitchen: Trinity Lutheran is hosting the Candy Cane Kitchen from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 at 2324 Lombard Ave., Everett. The holiday bazaar will have homemade lefse (Norwegian flatbread), candies, jams and other baked goods. Lunch will be available for purchase. Call 425-252-1239 for more information.

Chili & Chowder Cook-Off: Camano Island’s Chili & Chowder Cook-Off is 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Professional and amateur chefs will vie for top honors in three categories: best chili, best chowder and best-decorated booth. There will be live music, raffles, beer and wine. Tickets are $10. Take A Bite Out of Domestic Violence: Go to lunch and take a bite out of domestic violence. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County will hold its Outback Luncheon fundraiser from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at Outback Steakhouse, 10201 Evergreen Way, Suite 15, Everett.
