Schack Art Center: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Admission is free. Through Feb. 1, see “Salmon School Ambassadors” and “Allure of the Fish.” Schack classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metalsmithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass and blown glass. Teen Night is once a month from 6 to 8 p.m., with upcoming events on Feb. 21, March 21, April 18 and May 16. Each free event includes up to four different hands-on art projects with professional teaching artists for ages 13-18. Cascadia Art Museum: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. On third Thursdays, the museum is open until 8 p.m. and is free during Art Walk Edmonds hours, 5 to 8 p.m. The museum is at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds. Edmonds Community College: Naoko Morisawa’s “Play with Material: Laboratory” will be on display through March 15. The gallery is open 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays, and 1 to 5 p.m. on weekends. Everett Community College: EvCC faculty member T. Andrew Wahl’s “A History of Political Cartoons and Comics,” Feb. 19 to March 14. Haggen Marketplace Cafe: Whimsical and colorful artwork by Bothell artist Beth Francois will be on display through February. The exhibit is open daily during cafe hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the cafe, 8915 Market Place NE, Lake Stevens.

N.naoj was born in a small town in Japan, and moved to the United States in 1995. She came to the Pacific Northwest 2006. On display is a large collection of her acrylic paintings.
