Boy, 17, shot outside south Everett apartment complex

EVERETT — A shooting wounded a teen outside an Everett apartment complex Tuesday night.

Detectives were told the boy, 17, didn’t know who shot him or why. It happened around 8 p.m. in the 8700 block of Fifth Avenue W.

He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.

The shooter or shooters left in a vehicle. No suspect or vehicle description was released.

Bullet holes were found in a nearby apartment building. No one else was hit.
