Lake Roesiger Park shelter raising moved to Monday
Watch the Timber Framers Guild and volunteers raise a park shelter at 9 a.m. Monday at Roesiger Park, 1608 S. Lake Roesiger Road. The event will be similar to a traditional barn raising and is expected to end anywhere between 2 and 5 p.m.
Beginning at 10 a.m., kids ages 8 to 15 can help build picnic benches with instruction from the Timber Framers Guild members. There is a $25 suggested donation for the Kid’s Build event that includes lunch. Parents and guardians must sign up children in advance.
Parking will be limited, so carpooling is advised.
