Exchange worn flag

McClain Insurance is hosting a flag exchange through Friday. McClain Insurance is at 10410 19th Ave. SE, in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Everett, just south of Costco. Stop by and exchange worn U.S. flags for new ones between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Retired flags will be disposed of in a ceremony held by the Boy Scouts of America.

Free business tax workshop

The Mountlake Terrace Library is hosting a workshop covering business codes, deducting expenses, the difference between employees and contractors, estimated tax payments and more. The event will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 23300 58th Ave. W.

The workshop will be taught by Rizwan Chaudhry of NW Accountants.

Everett Farmers Market

The Everett Farmers Market is from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 28 at 2333 32nd St., across from Everett Station.

The market also is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 6 at the Port of Everett’s Boxcar Park, 615 13th St. Parking at the port costs $2, but is free near Everett Station.

The Snohomish market is open 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through September, rain or shine, on Cedar Avenue between First Street and Pearl Street.

Kids’ Cafe schedule set

All area kids ages 18 and younger are invited to join the Snohomish School District’s Kids’ Café summer breakfast and lunch program. The program is free, and there is no need to sign up beforehand. Kids just show up and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch. Kids’ Café is held Monday through Friday and runs Wednesday, June 26, through Friday, Aug. 30. (No service July 4.)

Breakfasts and lunches will be available at the following times and locations in Snohomish:

Snohomish High School, 1316 Fifth St.:

8:30-9 a.m. – Breakfast

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Lunch

Snohomish Boys & Girls Club, 402 Second St.:

8:30-9 a.m. – Breakfast

11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. – Lunch

Three Rivers Mobile Home Park, 13201 Elliott Rd.:
