Navy exercise
Security drills are happening at Naval Station Everett from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Those nearby may notice more emergency vehicles than usual and hear loudspeaker announcements. The main gates may be closed at times.
These kinds of exercises help to improve coordination between the Navy and other local agencies. They also keep the base prepared in the case of an actual emergency.
