Weekend closures at the Lynnwood Transit Center
Starting Friday, 46th Avenue West between 200th Street and the freeway access ramp will be closed on weekends for utility installation. Closures will begin at 8 p.m. Fridays and end at 4:30 a.m. Mondays. They are expected to last for about three months.

New fire truck rolling into Everett
The Everett Fire Department wants people to join fire personnel for the “rolling-in ceremony” of its new ladder truck at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Fire Station 1 — 3619 Rucker Ave. Open house attendees will be able to check out the new ladder and meet fire staff.

Blueberries are now in season. Visit one of the many u-pick farms in Snohomish County for a day of blueberry picking.

Free Summer Trolley in Edmonds
The Summer Trolley runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays through August, between downtown Edmonds and the waterfront.
The trolley is an expansion of the free Edmonds Holiday Trolley that runs during the winter holiday season.
“This will be a pilot project to test the case for considering ongoing trolley service in the future, for both upcoming holiday seasons and throughout our peak summer season,” said Patrick Doherty, the city’s economic development and community service director.
The ride will make four stops. Two will be in downtown Edmonds — just west of the Salish Sea Brewing Company and in front of the Edmonds Theatre. Two more will be at the waterfront — one near the Boat Lift at the Port of Edmonds, and one in front of Cascadia Art Museum at Salish Crossing. The trolley will be on a roughly 20-minute schedule.
