There are reasons why some are skeptical of vaccines

I recently spent four hours in an ER. I was fortunate to get a bed in the hallway. Most of the patients had non-covid related conditions. This alone prompted me to later receive my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine. However, I am still a critic of mandatory vaccinations.
Our prior television personality and chief promoted and initiated funding, through taxes, the research, production and distribution of covid-19 vaccines. Curious how those who hated Trump are now so eager to get vaccinated and those who loved him are now reluctant to do so. Disturbing how some Americans are so eager to trust the government, but only if that government fancies them.
Ads by law firms encouraging people to sue pharmaceutical companies flood the TV. Once, derogatorily referred to as Big Pharma because of intentional misinformation regarding the habit-forming side effects of opiates, large pharmaceutical companies are now regarded as virtuous producers of vaccines that can save the world. It is easy to assume that taxpayer money is used to fund both the R&D of vaccines and lawsuit settlements. Big Pharma is rolling in tax-payer dough.
According to my health provider, the covid-19 vaccine does not keep one from spreading the virus. This contradicts what we were initially told by politicians and network news. It can help diminish the symptoms. Theoretically, I can now get the virus without getting sick.
How audacious and naive that anyone in their right mind could possibly question the very reasonable skepticism by those who are reluctant to receive the vaccine.
The only reason I got vaccinated is that I didn’t want to take up a bed in a hospital emergency room.
